Movie- Iron Man

      Iron Man is action and science movie. The movie's main character is Tony Stark. He is chief executive officer of making arms company and he is smart and confident. He make Iron Man suit and ware it himself. In other words,  Tony Stark is Iron Man. Iron Man is hero of American. He fights against enemies for peace of world. He eliminates bad guy and guard innocent people. As time goes by, strong enemies aim the Iron Man and movie's story is more interesting.  Iron Man is series movie. It is opened 3-series that is  Iron Man 3 at last year. 1-series is opened at 6-years ago. I like this series movies and most like Iron Man. It is world movies. I expect next series.

Les Miserables

I will introduce one woman who is Fantine. I don’t know her correct age, but she is maybe middle of twenty because she has a little daughter. She has no family and husband. She only has one daughter and loves her very much. She is a beautiful woman and has shiny and long hair. She is also a poor woman because she doesn’t have money and has to raise her daughter by herself.

Fantine’s life changed when her boyfriend left her and her daughter. Before her boyfriend left them, she didn’t work at a factory. After her boyfriend left them, she worked at a factory because she had to earn money to raise Cosette.  For example, on page 7 chapter 2 “The man leaves poor Fantine with a child, a little girl called Cosette. Fantine must find work.” Before her boyfriend left them, she lived with Cosette.  After her boyfriend left them, she couldn’t live with Cosette because she had to go to the other nation for working and to earn money. For example, on page 7 chapter 2 “ she leaves her little daughter with Monsieur and Madame Thenardier. They ask for seven francs a month.”  Fantine’s life changed when she met Jean Valjean. Before she met Jean Valjean, she was arrested and had to go to prison. After she met Jean Valjean, she didn’t have to go to prison because Jean Valjean helped Fantine. For example, on page 12 chapter 2 “ ‘She must go free,’ said Monsieur Madeleine.” Before she met Jean Valjean, she couldn’t help Cosette because she was ill and she couldn’t send money to Cosette. After she met Jean Valjean, she could help Cosette. Jean Valjean helped Fantine. For example, on page 12 chapter 2 “Monsieur Madeleine listened to her sad story, and the next day he sent money to the Thenardiers.”

I thought the book was excellent for me because it was good to study. The book’s words and story were a little difficult. So, I didn’t understand the book’s story at first. I found what the word’s mean and studied them. Some time later, I could understand the book’s story. I felt that to read English books was good to study English. So, I decided to read more English books and study more words.

The Elephant Man

I would like to introduce The Elephant Man who was Joseph Merrick. He was 27 years old, and he lived in London with Simmon Silcock. He looked like an elephant because his face was ugly and big. The head didn’t have much hair and tooth was enormous and red. The face couldn’t laugh because the skin couldn’t move. He was timid because many people laughed at his appearance. Even, some people were afraid of him. Merrick didn’t like to meet people. He had a good friend who was Dr Treves and he met many kind people by Dr Treves. He had a mother, but he couldn’t meet her.

I thought Merrick was a poor person because he did not have a house and lived in a dirty room. For example, on page 2 chapter 1 “He opened a door at the back of shop. The room was cold and dark, and there was a horrible smell in it.” I thought Merrick was a sad person because he couldn’t meet his mother and missed her. For example, on page 15 chapter3 “He remembers his mother, and he has a picture of her. She was beautiful and kind, he says. But he never sees her now. She gave him to Silcock a long time ago.” I thought Merrick was a lucky person because he received a lot of money and a house from people. For example, on page 16 chapter 3 “The readers of The Times are very kind people. They gave us a lot of money. We could give him a home.”

I really enjoyed the book. It was my first time to read the book of only English words. I would say the book was beneficial for me because the plot of the book was interesting and It was easy to study English.  I think Merrick was a happy person because many people remembered him.
